Bring a memory stick if you would like to take the data file with you to work with. |

These hands-on courses will cover, but are not limited to: data protection/backup/restore, working with lists and reports, creating transactions, customizing preferences, and memorized transactions. |

Have you been posting transactions in QuickBooks but are unsure how to reconcile your accounts with your bank statements? Working with your QuickBooks data file and bank statements you will enter any un-posted transactions, learn to make corrections as needed, and reconcile your bank accounts. Bring your bank statements for 2009, check registers, deposit receipts and your QuickBooks data file on your laptop or a memory stick. If you bring a memory stick and/or you use QuickBooks for Mac please contact the office for instructions.
This class is not designed to resolve complicated data file errors or extreme amounts of un-posted or un-reconciled data – if you need help with this, please call the office for guidance. |

Excise/Sales Tax Preparation |

In this hands-on workshop you will produce reports, prepare and file your Washington State Department of Revenue business and occupation tax return. Bring your QuickBooks data file on your laptop or a memory stick. If you bring a memory stick and/or you use QuickBooks for Mac please contact the office for instructions. If you do not use QuickBooks please contact the office to find out what documentation to bring in lieu of a data file. Lastly, if you plan to pay your taxes electronically please bring your bank information.
We strongly recommend all bank accounts be reconciled in QuickBooks prior to filing your taxes. If you would like help reconciling please consider attending a Saturday Users Workshop or our 130 Bank Reconciliation in QuickBooks course prior to this workshop. |
